During high school She worked at a newspaper office called The Schulenburg Sticker and dreamed of becoming a writer . She attended Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Later she went to Houston Community College and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Busiess Management graduating with highest honors.Shirley has been married for 41years and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
