Author Information...

Dennis DoughtyDennis did not start playing golf until after his college days. But his desire to improve eventually led to his establishing the Golf Academy of Memphis with his good friend Jimmy Ellis. Later he served as the editor of Mid-South Golfer Magazine, and worked for golf courses in the Mid-South. He has won some local senior amateur golf tournaments. Dennis now serves as a minister in Tunica, Mississippi, and gives inspirational speeches to golf groups in the area, which led to the writing of these poems and essays.
