Author Information...

Judy Smith lives in Oak Island, North Carolina. This is her second published work. Her son and illustrator, Andy Smith, lives in Columbus, Ohio. This is also his second published illustration work. Judy and Andy’s first published work entitled “A Good Run” showed children the process of making maple syrup from the tree to the table. They have now moved their interests down to South Carolina under the guidance of Jennifaye Singleton to show children the process of the long-time tradition of sweetgrass basket making from the forest to the market! They plan to go back up north in their next book to follow the Jordan family on their dairy farm in the Four Seasons of Farming.
