FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE: The Journey, is a book about the life of Valawaugn Blackmon diagnosed with an Astrocytoma Grade 3 Brain Tumor. It is a book that is written to encourage all who are sick and fighting for their life, to FIGHT as I have done and NEVER GIVE UP! "Your death sentence is not your demise!" Have faith and believe in the one who created you! "I am a living witness that Jesus is a healer". Yes, some go home to be with our father but most die before their time because they give up. I know you are asking God why, I know your angry and seem defeated but there is hope! You're not alone! The cancer road is not an easy one! It is dark and it is lonely, not only for the one with the playing cards only, but also for the ones that are in the game with you, around the table, the care giver. This is a book not written by a world renowned author but a simple ole country girl from high-smith side, a little area in Roseboro, NC. A woman that loves God and people. It is written from the voice and personality of Valawaugn herself who created it. This book was prophesied that she would write it and it has come to pass by the inspiration of almighty God. Biography Valawaugn Blackmon McCain is by the grace of God a twenty-two year Astrocytoma Brain Tumor Cancer survivor after being given 3-5 years, and a mother of three. In spite of her diagnosis Valawaugn has obtained her associates degree in Early Childhood from Sampson Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree Birth- Kindergarten with a Minor in Social work from Fayetteville State University, and is currently attending Liberty University to obtain her Masters in Teaching and Learning Early Childhood Education. Valawaugn, has lived and faced some unbelievable challenges and now has come to share her story with you. She has an urgency in her heart to tell people diagnosed with incurable diseases to FIGHT FOR THEIR LIFE! She wants to inspire you with her story, so that you will see that even though there may be gray skies now the sun will shine again if you only believe and Never Give Up!
