I wanted to write about the ways the field has evolved. Some people have either never learned the original craft or think that throwing a party is an easy task. Who’s the DJ provides you with the tools one will need to become a successful member in the world of the Disc Jockey. This classic form of musical art is being changed by technology every day, but it still works under the same principals of the years past. I wrote this book to help inform those that want to learn the basic skills to get started, and to teach others how to spot a fake DJ from a professional one. I provide real life situations that can and have occurred to me as well as others. I love music and the art behind being a DJ. I hope that this book helps get that message across while providing powerful insight to what a real DJ should be when a person calls them self one.

As a twenty-year veteran in the DJ industry and a former radio DJ personality. Music has always been a part of my life from growing up in NYC to living in Japan. I use music as a comfort and as a way to teach life to kid’s. My wife and I have been together for sixteen years and we have three daughters. We have traveled around being that my wife is in the Navy. I hold both an AS and a BS in Criminal Justice as well as MS in Human Resource. Being a DJ helps me learn about the regions I live in and gives me such happiness to do events for all age groups.
