Lynette SmithLYNETTE T. SMITH is the overseer of Christian Education & Professional Development for Impact Nation Fellowship Churches, Inc., in the United States. She also serves as dean of Unity School of Ministerial Preparation. She graduated from South Carolina State University of Orangeburg, South Carolina, in1964 and completed her master’s degree in education in 1974. She completed her doctorate in educational leadership in 2014 from the University of Phoenix. Her dissertation research focused on the impact of leadership practices of Alabama’s interdenominational pastors in influencing their subordinates to become and remain leaders in their organizations. She has authored two books, including A True Love Story—Kool Joe & Kitten and Discovering God’s Purpose in Pain. She was married to Joseph W. Smith . Joseph passed away December 4, 2015. They shared the blessings of five children, three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and ten grandchildren.
