Broken And Ready To Quit…

I had what I felt was a good life. A husband I adored, children that I loved, a new home built from the ground up, a good job and money in my pocket. I thought I was happy. So how did I end up here? Sitting in the middle of our bed heartbroken with my world falling apart around me. I had been told he was being unfaithful but I didn’t want to believe it until she called me and confirmed everything. So here I am with his gun in my hand and waiting for him to come home. I’m on the edge – ready to take that final step…

About the Author… I was born in Washington, DC, to the late John A. Nash, Jr. and Allene R. Nash of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. When I was twelve, we moved to Temple Hills, MD, where I lived until I got married. I grew up with two older sisters and one younger brother. I was blessed with three children and several grandchildren of my own. Every summer my parents would send me and my siblings to Winston-Salem to spend time with our grandparents. They were good to us and we never wanted for anything. So when one of my grandmothers could no longer care for herself, nothing could stop me from going to see about her. I will always cherish my time in Winston-Salem, even though there were some difficult times. I learned a lot about myself, made a lot of great friends; some I even consider family, and most importantly found my way back to God.
