Author Information...

Alisha Ann ThomasAlisha Ann Thomas is the name I was given by my mother. I was born in a very small town in Alabama, then at the age of 11 moved to Florida. To look back over my journey, I have many things to be grateful for, like my children. It amazes me how I was chosen to be their mother. I once read that before a child is born into a family, the child chooses to whom they will be born, which is an amazing aspect of life and how God allows us even as pure spirits to exercise free will. I’m the mother of six beautiful children, each of whom I love all individually. The passion I have is to help as many children as possible to overcome their fears and to live well in every area of life. In 2014 I attended Light University, where I received my certification in psychology with the specialization in teen and adolescent behavior. Later I began a not-for-profit organization titled Greater Light Foundation to help sexually abused teens and adolescents. Compassion is one of my many gifts; in the book of Revelation John wrote that “those who love the most God forgives the most.” The reason being that when you have compassion and love for all individuals, sometimes you make mistakes about who you trust, so for me I’m constantly asking God for forgiveness, which is okay—after all I’m not perfect, and really if we were perfect we wouldn’t need God. My story is about my journey to oneness with the True and Living God.
