Poetry and children have always be a part of Chris' life. Even a a child, Chris was writing poems to celebrate special occasions for friends and family. Today that list includes co-workers. Along with being a father of four boys, he spent over a decade as a youth soccer coach and cub scout pack leader. His involvement with children doesn't stop there. By profession, he is a licensed playground safety inspector and designs playground equipment for public parks and schools.
Chris says he created this book hoping to inspire a few smiles and a few laughs for his readers as his way of adding a little happiness to the world.
About the Illustrator
Jay has studied fine art and worked in graphic design, but his favorite medium is drawing. He can often be found drawing silly characters for people around him. Currently he is an elementary art teacher where he can put this skill to work daily.
