“Straight From My Heart” Poems of Love and Friendships is a book of relationships, love and friendships. When my heart opens to let others in, I try to be open and you’ll see how friendship and love have been my inspiration in my book. There are smiles and there are frowns because most people has given me a chance to guide me through life. There is laughter and tears, hope and courage, caring and sharing, trust and understanding in relationships and as friendships and love. There’s happiness and sadness and confidence and hope. Friendships gives a person such as you and who you connect to and how friendships bond us together.

I have been writing since I was a child, but Brian is new to picking out the poetry. He is really good at writing poetry and short stories. Growing up I’ve been entering contests, but never really got into the poetry world. Brian and I want this book to be good enough to be in this book and he is.
