Obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Marygrove College in 1994, and received a M.A. in Urban & Regional Studies from Minnesota State University (Mankato) in 1996. In recent years, he became a born-again Christian, partnering with numerous ministries to spread the gospel and reach the world for Jesus Christ.
