Marcellena Styles is an American Author and Screenwriter. As a native of Chicago, IL she spent her formative years growing up in California and Illinois. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Film from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her background includes being an on-air radio personality for WITY and WSIU AM radio stations. Key television assignments held by Marcellena include working as a contributing writer for the development of sitcom characters and storylines for BET (Black Entertainment Television). Additionally, she has worked as a human resources executive and has written and developed training manuals for organizations including the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs where she previously served as the Chief of Human Resources. As an empty nester Ms. Styles enjoys outdoors activities, listening to music, reading and spending time with God. Her future novel is entitled: “Cup of Water” and is scheduled for release Winter 2017.
