When a teenager moves from rural America into a big city just in time to finish the last two years of high school, the education he received from life was substantially more than he could have ever imagined. Slow Burn, an autobiographical work of Johnny’s high school days, was first drafted thirty years ago while the events and feelings were still fresh. Now ready to share with the world, he recounts the experiences that shaped his future self. Always a bit of a rolling stone, Johnny is currently considering moving back to the place he spent the best—and worst—years of his life.
