Dr Humeraa Ahmad Qamar has been practicing pediatrics in Ocala, Florida for the last 19 years. Children’s health is her passion as she firmly believes that healthy kids become healthy adults hence laying the foundation for a healthy, thriving society. She attended medical school in her native country Pakistan and then moved to the States where she did her Master’s In Public health from Yale University and subsequently her Pediatrics residency from Bridgeport Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital, CT where she also served as Chief Resident. She is happily married to Dr Asad Qamar a cardiologist, and has a beautiful daughter Sana, and two handsome sons Ehsun and Aadil. Her kids are a source of perpetual joy for her. Her dad, a writer, and her mom a college teacher, have inculcated the love of writing in Dr Qamar.
