The Butterfly Project – Change has come

I lived what seemed like a lifetime of abuse. I endured mental and emotional relationships, which became physical(because prolonged abuse of any kind, can bring on issues that affect our bodies); Abuses allowed knowingly and/or unknowingly invited by one's self because of low esteem. Finally, self preservation, kicked in strength. That strength changed me, from one who once felt as if a doomed caterpillar. I was miraculously ushered into the mystery of life’s cocoon. A metamorphosis transpired. In the timing of God, I was changed into the beautiful butterfly hidden inside of me. On the pages of this small book, my sadness, disappointments and struggles are revealed, analyzed and revolved into snips of moments (through poems and prose) and victory of finding life’s joy. My desire is to help and encourage someone who is going through abuse and is ready to come out.

Dianne Norwood Lowery lives in Winston-Salem, NC, with her husband. Writing has always been a love of hers, but life kept getting in the way. Dianne is mother of two; a son who passed away and a daughter who is a pastor. She also has two grandsons. Dianne is a former business owner. She now has a ministry; helping hurting women to heal themselves and each other, through the knowledge of Jesus Christ. She wants to use her writing as a healing tool and a display of her love for God. Her favorite place of "escape" is the North Carolina Coast.
