Parents no longer have to feel alone in this process. This book is meant to prepare you, praise you, comfort you, and promise you that parenting will be a lifetime journey; one that many have had the opportunity to travel at some point in their life. Now it’s your turn.

I have spent many years jotting down the trials and tribulations while raising my children; and watching the many different choices parents have made, responded to, or even disregarded. Nevertheless, every time I saw a mother stressing because of the actions of her child, it made me wish that babies were born with a book, “Now They Are.”

I am a US Army retired soldier. I have spent several years teaching within the JROTC program where the mission was motivating young people to be better citizens. After spending several years in the JROTC program, I have decided to pursue another master’s degree, only this time in education and leadership. Well, I couldn’t just stop there. Currently I am working to complete my Ed.D. in Education Administration and Leadership; where I will pursue the challenges of becoming a part of the change in the education system that will truly focus on meeting the academic goals of educating students in a bountiful way.
