Product description...

There will be love, there will be lust, there will be betrayal, and there will be death ... such is a life.

This book is a collection of poetry, based on the life of one man, who has an incredible passion for writing. In this book of poetry, I will tell of the struggle of the protagonist, via poetry - no other avenue. The protagonist is not measured (labeled) by name, hair color, ethnicity, or body shape, in order to truly tell the story of who he is from the perspective of the conscience, the passion of the protagonist, not the confines of societal labels, norms, etc. The portrayal of this man is meant to be vivid in human nature, not aesthetic measures. The struggle of the protagonist depicts the constant, of passion, love, family... emotion. He lives immeasurably within life, a fact that will lead to many struggles throughout his life. The book will follow the protagonist all the way up to his death, where the beauty of his soul will, no doubt, resonate with the critical thinkers of life, spirituality, love... emotion.

Author Information...

Valencia BenjaminThe Author, Valencia Benjamin, has been a poet and author since the age of 12 years. She is self-taught in those areas. She is also a songwriter, and is currently trying to become a ghostwriter. Valencia was a student at Ashford University, where she was pursuing a BA in English, minor in Psychology. She has made the Dean’s list ever since she matriculated into Ashford. She currently holds a 3. 77 GPA, her GPA has never been under a 3.0. Valencia is from Selma, Alabama. She has a Mother, a Father, two brothers, and one sister. She was raised around, and by, philanthropists, activists, teachers, lawyers, and Christian Apostolic members of her family and her community. Valencia was involved in much activism in her youth, and also loads of volunteer work. This is still a passion of hers, and, thus, she also has hopes of acquiring a grant (after she gains her BA) to begin a women and children’s shelter, an organization by the name of “The Adonis Organization”. Adonis Productions, is the title name of any, and all, editing, writings, photography, and performances on her YouTube channel “Poets Corna: The Business”, where she performs poetry, and other genres of lyrical functions (R&B, Hip/Hop, Gospel Covers, etc.). All of the production of these performances (etc.) is done by her, and her alone. To contact her for ghostwriting sessions, email her at leonijahbossy@gmail.com (a name lovingly inspired by a veraciously active child she loves, and helped to raise for many years.).
