A godsend came into my life and urged me to publish my idiosyncratic tales. This support and belief system encouraged me to create a novel and urged others to never underestimate a muse. “Hearing Colors” is a small tale to represent the struggles of a small town. My characters are depicted as a melting pot of euphemisms describing the small town way of life. I have dedicated my main character, Anni Townsend, to my home town of Anniston, Alabama.
