Product description...

Creekside

Because there is so much history of Aravaipa Canyon and its surrounding country in Arizona, after I did much research I decided to start my non-fiction story with mention of the Aravaipa Apache Indian people and earliest non-Indian settlers along the western end of Aravaipa Creek. It also contains events, both good and bad, that took place before and after I had become the wife of an Aravaipa Creek rancher. Ranching was much different in the earlier years, as were the people who had earlier made their living by farming only along Aravaipa Creek. Also described are some of the many changes that took place due to government agencies and environmentalists who wanted to save Aravaipa Creek. I also couldn’t resist adding a little humor now and then.
