Author Information...

Caroline Sewall HanksBorn in 1924, Caroline is a dynamic woman with uncommon strength, integrity, and both internal and external beauty. She lived through the depression as a child, grew up on Long Island NY, got a PE teaching degree from Boston College, married a sailor in Pearl Harbor during World War II, raised a family of five (four boys and a girl), volunteered as a leader in education everywhere she lived, built and lived in homes all over the United States, earned her Master’s degree in her fifties enabling her to work as a personnel manager in retail, retired to nurse her husband with cancer, then traveled all over the world by herself, and finally settled down the past few years to enjoy eight grandchildren and six (another on the way) beautiful great grandchildren. She celebrated her 90th birthday in February this year (2014) and currently lives in Milwaukee with her first son and his wife.
