How Sweet It Is! provides a loving and comprehensive rendering of the impressive and compelling 66-year history of Delta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The rich legacy of the sorority's oldest and largest graduate chapter in Brooklyn, New York is brought to life via nearly 300 pages of thoroughly-researched narrative, archival images and vivid first-person accounts, chronicling the foresight, fortitude and feisty spirit of the pioneering women who have been counted among the chapter's ranks from its inception to the present day.

Christine M. Rudisel learned about the sisterhood and service of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® from her mother, a "golden" (50+-year) member of this international service organization. She became a member of the sorority in 2005, when she was initiated into Delta Rho Omega Chapter in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently the chapter’s archivist and a member of its History Committee.
