Author Information...

Barbara Braun-McDoanld has worked with families and children for over twenty years in clinics, residential and out patient settings. The last fourteen years she has focused on Adoption and Attachment Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Anxiety Disorders. Barbara is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, a Licensed Mental health Counselor, a Registered Attachment Therapist and a trained Play Therapist. She has presented internationally on attachment disorders, child psychology and play therapy. She is a former board member of ATTACH. She is a Mom, a Foster Mom and a Grandmom. Her practice is on Cape Cod where she lives with her husband and maintains balance by gardening, swimming and reading. Celine Ramos is a special needs teacher and artist living on Oahu, Hawaii with her family. Her talent and sensitivity is apparent in the tender illustrations.
