Product description...

A lifetime of bad decisions.

Woeful Wisdom is the story of an alcoholic, from birth through today. It highlights his troubles, his goals and successes. It is aimed at the suffering alcoholic and or their families. Showing how one person managed to dig himself out of the merry go round of alcoholism, exposing many of the troubles and problems of the alcoholic. Hopefully, it will serve as an inspiration to others wishing to unburden themselves of an addiction. Although ‘Woeful Wisdom’ is primarily about alcohol recovery, it can be related to drug addiction as well, and many other phases of life’s character defects. The plan is basic; the twelve steps of AA can be applied to most anything one chooses. Just substitute the word ‘alcohol’ or ‘Alcoholic’ with whatever situation is of concern. Returning us to sanity is the goal. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. The non-alcoholic can certainly gain some insight by reading ‘Woeful Wisdom’, as many things are intended to also deal with everyday life without alcohol as a crutch. The families and friends of the addict also suffer greatly. For their assistance there is Al-Anon, a group similar to AA, but designed for the non alcoholic to deal with, and understand the alcoholic.
