Product description...

TOUCHPOINTS TITILLATES AND COMMISERATES WITH THE RAW FEELINGS OF EMOTIONAL GROWTH

Touchpoints deals with the unseen world – our emotions – which is linked with our physical world through words. To some, these emotions can be small or seem trivial, while to others they are heart crushing. Touchpoints has many rhythms: some of the poems are steamy and adventurous, whereas others convey mad and resentful feelings. These poems are not for the faint of heart. One reviewer noted that while he was able to "read it quickly and easily, which is hard for me," he also "dared the weak to take this walk!"

Author Information...

Sally ShirleyGoing through all the events of Life can be frustrating, especially if you have no one to share them with. Sally Shirley knows this first hand, as she has been there. Writing has been her salvation. One can say just what they want to on the written page and choose to share those feelings with others - or not. But it gives you a better idea of what's going on than if you just keep everything inside. "People tell me things," she says, from her home office near Nashville, "and I write about them in poetry form as if they were my own experiences. And then I say 'Is this what you mean?'" Nine times out of ten, she is spot on. This kind of writing - putting oneself in the speaker's chair - is cathartic. If you want to share your thoughts and feelings with her, please email her at: sally.shirley@comcast.net.
