“Honeymoon Nightmare” came about as a result of our strange experiences with God and the dark forces surrounding us. Out of the darkness “Honeymoon Nightmare” emits a light which shows us the path back to the safe harbor of God’s loving arms. It is a strange story that shows all of us that God can do anything he wants. He lets us see his miracles, and his greatness. He shows us that unconditional love is the key for obtaining a happy contented life. Ralph and Pat experienced some tough trials to become the kind of people God can trust and use in these latter-days which is still going on. This is an unknown adventure with many twists, and dangers which forces them to hide out. As they disconnected themselves from their families their troubles stopped. When their enemies knew where they lived, their troubles rebounded. Illness and poverty held them in their deadly grips but they were able to overcome. Dark shadows followed them almost every day, but God intervened many times to save them. At the beginning there was mounting pressure against them to try to tear them apart, but their love and deep abiding trust in God conquered all. This story is an unusual unbelievable romantic tale. God shows his miracles in uniting these two unlikely people who needed a push in the right direction. Pat’s Mother was the only one that believed that they were true soul mates. She said, “He’s a little young but in the end it will work out just fine.”

Born in Massachusetts to two highly creative parents, Patricia went on to college to study the medical sciences. She was the production editor of the “Idalite” newspaper and on the year book staff. Patricia married and raised three children, joined the LDS Church, and she and her two sons performed in the Cummorah Hill Pageant in New York in 1967. Patricia had some success as an artist and professional cook, but her greatest challenge was writing “Honeymoon Nightmare”.
