In her first book, Remembering Family: A Crucian Sojourn, Dr. Sandra O. Harrigan explores the intricacies and value of family her birth kin and the kindred that flows into and from community. Dr. Sandra Harrigan has earned degrees from the University of the Virgin Islands, Indiana University, and Columbia University. She has served as teacher, guidance counselor, counseling supervisor in the Virgin Islands public school system, and as adjunct professor at the University of the Virgin Islands.
