Incardceration is a collection of inspirational poems for the incarcerated community.This body of work attempts to provide open communication between families, friends, and their incarcerated loved ones. The contents run the gamut of reconciliation, greetings, challenges, chastisement, reflection, defiance, acceptance and hope. This collection gives an in-depth look at the nuances of the Criminal Justice System and places the missed relationships at the very center. There is a poem or greeting to every inmate, guilty or innocent.

Beverly Morgan lives and works in the New York area. She worked in Prison Health for many years and has a keen interest in the Criminal Justice System as well as a love for writing poetry. She invites the many families and friends with incarcerated loved ones, to join her for an engaging dialogue through her riveting poetry. She intends to publish a second volume in the near future.
