Through The Seams

How does celebrating friendship, raising children, dealing with loneliness, experiencing loss, conquering fear, and being in love all relate to baseball? In Through The Seams, a steadfast fan discovers life’s greatest moments, challenges, risks and rewards have much in common with our homegrown American sport. Drawing inspiration from the field, Through The Seams provides a unique perspective on baseball as a mirror for life. Using baseball events, rivalries, defeats, and triumphs ~ life itself is reflected in the spirit of the game. Being a baseball fan is not essential (though it helps!) to enjoy this unique view as seen through the sports lens of a wife, mother and friend.

Eileen C. Anderson grew up in Providence RI where her passion for baseball and the Red Sox was born. Through The Seams is her first full length publication. In addition to reading and penning baseball lit, she enjoys writing about her global travels as well as gardening, dancing, volunteering, decorating and hiking the Virginia Blue Ridge. The mother of three grown children, Eileen and her husband Eric now live in North Carolina with their cat, Tiger.
