The Joe Lunchbucket Chronicles are a collection of stories that share what may be universal “boomer” experiences. Maybe, just maybe, your stories may not be so far off the beaten path from that which Joe Lunchbucket has traveled. Maybe you will find yourself in these stories. Maybe these Chronicles will bring to mind memories of your own days of high adventure.

Joe Lunchbucket came to grips with the fact that neither he nor his experiences were unique unto themselves. What he discovered was that the collection of people, the times, events and places shared were unique. The Chronicles cannot just be stories to the reader; they need to be the gateway to your own remembrances. If you let yourself drift a little bit, stare off into space, you will soon find yourself, as Joe did, right back in the thick of it. You will find your own magical time and place. Joe Lunchbucket grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, where most of the Chronicles took place. He is confident that the statute of limitations has run out on his minor infractions against the people of Brookfield and the other burbs. Joe attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where he received his BS in Economics. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas where he is active in his own Insurance Brokerage firm and writes from the recesses of his reinforced bunker. Paul R.
