Edward M. Gardner is a CPA, CFP®, PFS, CPP, CSA with both a BBA in Accounting and a MPA (Masters) in Taxation from the University of Texas at Austin. He has written numerous articles both locally and nationally. He has appeared on television and radio for years. He is the host of Planning Ahead with Ed on CNN 650 AM in Houston. He is a past VITA recipient by the IRS and received the Accountant Advocate of the Year from the SBA for both Houston and Region V1. He has been on the Board of the Houston CPA Society and Houston Chapter of the American Red Cross. He has personally lead a clothing, toy, and food drive in Houston for the past 27 years that has helped over 216,000 less fortunate individuals in Houston.
