Maureen BirkettMaureen Birkett is a writer of Christian Poetry and was born and raised, and continues to live in the outskirts of Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in a little town called Oakford. Maureen has a faith that is deeply rooted in our Lord, Jesus Christ. She is a Christ Servant Minister in her home church, Scottsville United Methodist Church in Langhorne. Maureen has a passion for writing poetry and enjoying music as displayed by her involvement in the Sanctuary, Praise and Worship, Youth and Bell Choirs. Maureen enjoys working with young people with special needs. She teaches a special needs Sunday School Class and youth group, which meets at her church on Sunday evenings from September through May. She loves the Lord and gives thanks to Him for her many talents. This is the first of her, hopefully many books Glorifying God!
