"Who the hell is Pete Siegel?"

Pete is a self-proclaimed entrepreneurial underachiever and all-around average guy who, in either an act of sheer bravery, or complete stupidity, has attempted to share the joys and humilities he has experienced in his never-ending struggle to reach the age of 37. He is not a hero; in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. He does not have an Oscar or a Grammy, and at the time of printing, there had been no sign of the Publisher's Clearing House van carrying his one million dollar grand prize check. He could be the guy sitting next to you on the plane, painstakingly crafting a hand puppet out of the vomit bag, desperately trying to silence the screams of the children kicking the seat behind him, or the one before you in the Starbucks line, impatiently awaiting his second overpriced caffeinated beverage of the day. In his own words, he tells us, "The pages ahead are a scrapbook of stories and experiences, each with their own lessons that have, in some way, shaped my life. Some of you will laugh, some will cry, and some will put this book right back on the shelf. But let me ask you this simple question.
