Product description...

Coming out of the dark...

From Crack To The Cross is the true-life story of Tim Murphy, a successful restaurant and hotel executive who climbed to the top of his profession while falling into the darkness of addiction. After being raped as a young teen, dealing with sexual abuse from a priest, dying in a car wreck (and being brought back), and suffering more than twenty-five years of addiction, rehabs, jails and attempted suicide, Murphy turned to God, placing his sorrows in the hands of Jesus and finding light and life after decades of darkness.

From Crack to the Cross is a story of miracles, hope, second chances, and the power of faith. It is an enduring testimony to the glory of God.

Author Information...

Tim MurphyTim Murphy grew up in Millbrook, NY, a small town made famous as the residence of counterculture guru Timothy Leary. By the age of fourteen, Murphy was partying hard with rock musicians, hippies and others who called Millbrook home, experiencing everything the sixties had to offer in the form of sex, drugs and rock and roll. Although he grew into a charismatic, bright young man and restaurateur, there were many who bet he wouldn't see thirty with his wild and destructive life style.

At the age of 46, Murphy put his hand into the hand of God, embarking on a seven-year odyssey packed with miracles and wonder, and found the faith and strength to become the man that God created him to be.

Today, Tim serves as a counselor at Daytop Village, is active in ministry and shares his message of hope as an inspirational speaker.
