Aken Vivian Wariebi is a Poet, Author and Playwright. She has been writing from grade school. She calls herself “A student of Life” and she says she is inspired by life in all forms including the good, the bad and the ugly and all points in between. Her writings have been featured in several magazines locally and internationally. This is her third self-published book of Poetry. Aken is originally from Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. She is a social worker and loves making a difference in the lives of others as life teaches her. She is a graduate of Syracuse and Rutgers Universities respectively.

Aken states that she read an article some time ago about love. It stated that a love given by someone raised by love and love given by someone who is a survivor of life’s adversities are very different. Although this may be so, she states that everyone has a bit of God’s love and that is universal. Therefore, the fighter survives and so does every other person who experiences genuine love, as love is free. She hopes that we may spread love as God helps us to love one another simply because he loves us, this is her Mantra.
