About the Author and Illustrator: Cynthia Scott Griffin has been working as a school psychologist for over twenty years in a suburb north of Detroit, Michigan. She is married, with two grown children, and enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Murphy. Murphy is the inspiration for this series of animal books for children! Megan Dodge Sergi is a graduate of Detroit’s College for Creative Studies and currently works as a freelance illustrator. She is a wife and the mother of two young children.
