Lena M. Williams McMillon is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the youngest of nine children. She is mother of four children and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was the 1st Lady of Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska, where her husband, the late H. G. McMillon, Jr., was pastor for 23 years; She was a Sunday School Teacher; Mission President; Church Organist; and New Era State Baptist Convention President of the Women’s Auxiliary and Ministers Wives. In addition to her church related work, she was a realtor for over forty years in Nebraska and Florida; She was a certified social worker; Administrator for Omaha O.I.C. Adult Day Care and a Radio Broadcaster for KOWH “Joy of Gospel.” Lena has written Take Ye Eat to demonstrate the many glorious benefits that await those willing to take God at his word.
