Product description...

Poems and Stories for Today

The daily news forces us to think about things we never dreamed could happen. We become angry and frustrated over crises that seem intractable. In such troubled times, storytelling offers a welcome escape. The poems and stories in this book are occasionally disturbing, sometimes nostalgic and always entertaining. They invite the reader to transcend the here and now and to search for new understanding and experience. They deal with the search for truth (“Questions”), bizarre occurrences (the Fantasy section) or possible everyday occurrences (the Story section). Tales for a Troubled Time will stir the reader’s imagination and, for a while, interrupt the tedium of daily living.
