In Last of the Baby Boomers, Scott Barta uses his own life experiences to discuss this age bracket. He shares his frailties, tragedies, and triumphs to illustrate his observations on the human condition and how the men, in particular, of this generation have been affected economically and psychologically. Scott Barta was born in 1962. He is married and has two children, a 15-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. He grew up in Salina, Kansas—America’s breadbasket—where his family first settled when Kansas was a brand-new state. Scott and his best friend of 47 years cofounded a Sasquatch research group, Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies, which has been their greatest adventure to date. The Last of the Baby Boomers is his first novel.
