Upon graduating Bible College in l982 from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Tx. James fulfilled his call to ministry in many different areas including home care leader, Bible teacher, pulpit preacher, and writer. His writing, to this point, has brought attention to the family and leadership as the Holy Spirit continues to disclose different areas for attention. James’ first book ‘Am I A Priest…Servant/Leader’ laid the foundation for an ABC how-to look at the roles and responsibilities of the servant/leader. His passion has always been to help leaders, primarily men, understand their role and responsibilities as a servant/leader. James compiled ‘Unmasking the Deception of Dysfunction’ as the Holy Spirit began revealing to him the depth of dysfunction. In this project he takes the reader on a thought-provoking journey through the hills and valleys of one’s personal life. As time progressed he began to see how dysfunction affects people across all areas including government, education, military, ministry, family, and the work place. This revelation gave him, as it were, a moving screen showing how the ball of dysfunction rolls along from childhood into adulthood and the role of leadership. The current book ‘Unmasking the Deception of Dysfunction’ goes into a much different direction by pointing out how dysfunction is so wide spread. It knows no limitations and thwarts the boundaries into the leadership arena. His goal, as a writer, and his signature writing style has become one of self examination by purposefully-placed questions throughout the book. It is James’ desire that by using the tools revealed herein a person is challenged and encouraged to become more complete in his/her leadership role.
