A Moment in Time is my reflection of some of the most memorable events of my life. I tried to focus on the loving family I was born into and the two gay men that I met in my life who meant everything to me. It is a story about love shared within a family. It is a story about love shared by two gay men at two different times without the benefit of being socially recognized as a couple. If I have come close to sharing with my readers those deep feelings that I felt for the people surrounding me in my life, then I have been a success. Chris Mitchell DeClark (AKA:Fisher) was born in 1947 in eastern North Carolina in the rural village of Verona. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Behavioral Science. DeClark retired in 2005 from the federal government in Washington, D.C. after more than 30 years of service. His long career included work in management consulting, human resources, policy analysis, budget development, and advising Presidential appointees on national policies and issues. This book is DeClark's first attempt at published writing, something he longed to do in retirement. DeClark lives in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with his husband.
