Product description...

Robert’s Journey...

A journey from the innocence of youth during the Great Depression to manhood in the Armed Guard during the battle for control of the Atlantic during WWII.

The stories within the covers of this book are stories that were told about my father, Robert Skinner, by him and his siblings during weekend get togethers on our farm when I was a young boy. Many are humorous, some sad. All are to the best of my knowledge true, howbeit, they got better each time they were repeated. This book is the result of the prompting of my wife and others that I told these stories to that found them quite entertaining, so much so that these stories should be put in writing for others to enjoy.
