A Time-Traveling Adventure
Ever dream of being something you are not? An athlete, a wizard… or a Ninja?
Scott and his brothers and cousin do just that - they become Ninjas! They set out in search of adventure and get more than they bargain for. While at a sleep-over at their grandparents’ home, the four boys sneak from the house in the wee hours of the morning and head to the nearby lake. A strange gadget lies partially buried in the marsh reeds around the lake. When it asks, “Where do you want to go?”, they respond “to see Ninjas”, of course. So off they go, whirling through time and space to medieval Japan, to the land of samurai and Ninjas!
To the boys’ surprise, the Samurai with their fierce horned helmets and Ninjas with their shining Ninja stars, expect the boys to be Ninjas too!
When the castle is attacked by an enemy clan, the boys must prove their worth as Ninjas. But what can they do? They’ve never even held a Ninja star!
Join Scott and his brothers and cousin as they work together to help the Emperor - and become Ninjas, for real! And when the time gadget is lost, how, if ever, will they get home?
A child’s vision of medieval Japan, through the artistry of Scott, the ten-year-old grandson of author Grammy Hauser.
