Have you ever dealt with a difficult person at work? Have you ever experienced hater-ration? Jesus had haters and dealt with difficult people. He teaches how to deal with fault-finders who say your work isn’t good enough, when it is. He teaches how to deal with false-accusers who say, you have done something wrong, when you haven’t. With Scriptural teachings, you don’t go to work hating work and frustrated, instead you are encouraged, uplifted and enlighten!
More than four decades after the Civil Rights bill, African Americans still face tremendous and blatant discrimination in their daily lives. In this raw, eye-opening book, Arquila A. Todd shares her own remarkable experiences as she encounters prejudice on the job and in society—and then learns how to fight back. As she explains, the key lies in finding the strength and wisdom in scripture and rejecting the slave mentality to which so many African Americans have succumbed. You’ll learn:
•How the Bible can help you to deal with hostility and disrespect from adult bullies.
•The scriptural strength to reject blame for things that are not your fault.
•Bible-based strategies to rise above life’s difficulties.
•Ways to hold those in authority accountable.
•Why so many African Americans think less of themselves without even knowing it—and how to turn the tide on this self-destructive phenomenon.
•Much, much more.
As the Bible teaches, confrontation is often the catalyst that changes situations for the better. But without the right training, confronting evil is ineffective more often than not. With The Brainwashing of Black America, you’ll gain the necessary tools to fight entrenched racism and discrimination. Join Todd as she describes situation after situation in which attempts to bring her low were met with table-turning scripture that put her enemy under her feet. By putting her strategies into practice, you can help contribute to meaningful, long-term change and give your children a better future.

Feedback: Hello Arquila, First of all I just want to apologize for my long Facebook message/rant. I was really feeling overwhelmed and wanted the advice of someone who would not give me their own opinion, but Godly advice. I didn't realize at the time that it may seem as if I was being selfish and dumping my problems off on you. So for that I apologize. I bought your book The Brain Washing of Black America: How God Helped Me Overcome. Thank you for being obedient to God and writing this book. As I am reading it, I am already being convicted as well as empowered by the scenarios and scriptural references you provide. I don't feel overwhelmed like I did before, so praise God for that!! I realized that I have allowed fear to control me. Whether it was fear of failure or what other people think of me, fear has kept me from being obedient to God. I have now acknowledged this sin and have repented. I know that I am a work in progress, but I thank God for His love and guidance. Also, I am praying about about your relationship with the guy friend you mentioned in the Facebook message as well for God to continue ordering your footsteps and giving you a heart of obedience. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I appreciate you more than you will ever know! Sincerely, J W Texas State University-San Marcos, founded in 1899, is a part of The Texas State University System.
