Book Details

Jack said, “Sheriff Sellers, when did ya git in bed wid da Mafia?”

Eight minutes after entering the bank, and after locking the three tellers and manager inside the vault, and hitting the silent alarm button, the couple exited the building. They stepped out onto the sidewalk, the man turned left, and the woman turned right. They each calmly walked three blocks and watched as two, and then three more, police cruisers screeched to a halt with lights flashing and sirens screaming. The man removed a walkie-talkie from his back pocket and spoke into it, saying only one word, “Go.”
