Book Details

Are you or a loved one grappling with issues that confront seniors?

“Dr. Weddington has opened up the conversation on how we treat and can support seniors as they age. He believes education is the pivotal first step in creating awareness of the issues, as do the Long Beach Gray Panthers, so all seniors can age with respect, dignity, and equality. All communities need to have these conversations on aging and include seniors in the conversation.” Karen Reside, President, Long Beach Gray Panthers

“Many people in this country are unaware of the dire circumstances of many of our elderly and the price they are paying for not having kept up with inflation… Dr. Weddington has done extensive research in this area and shares that research between the covers of this book. The challenges facing our country’s senior citizen population are not just their problem; they are all of ours. If you’re not already, one day you may be a part of this growing population. Or you may have a close family member who needs your assistance in the provision of care for them. Recognizing what’s at stake is the first step. What you do with what you know is the second step. Dr. Weddington points out what could and should be done to bring about a healthy resolution, and how each of us can contribute to it.” Dr. John McKinney, Psychologist/Published Author
