Book Details
Yes, I am an old professor, sitting on a hill (in a solar-based straw-bale house). Wise? Maybe!
I have done a lot of research on birds, lizards, snakes, turtles, mammals, fossils, and volcanos. I have also done a lot of environmental consulting, which has led me to a lot of travel (all U.S. states, all Mexican states but the Yucatan, all Central American countries, much of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Borneo, Japan, Hong Kong, Fiji, southern Europe, Iran, Greece, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, and of course, London). I have watched as many people as I have lizards and frogs. I have visited museums, art galleries, social gatherings, and ruins. I have read about 30 books a month (science, history, mystery, politics, archaeology, novels, religion, magic, conservation, and ecology). I have met a lot of people, Emperors to campesinos, rich to poor, and in big cities and small
I have done a lot, seen a lot, experienced a lot, read a lot, written a lot and while I may not be the wisest person in the world, I have thought a lot about a lot of things. They come to mind when I relax, meditate, read watch TV, and watch people, so I wrote them down. A few of the words of wisdom have been said by others or are unknown. I have acknowledged those people, or sometimes extended their thoughts to make them my own. ENJOY! LEARN!
