ADVANCE REVOLVERS is the story of the son of a gunfighter who has to survive the murder of his wife, Comancheros and war.

Advance Revolvers is the second book in the trilogy about the Alvarado family of New Orleans. They trace their 300 year family heritage from the Spanish empires Desoto expedition of the Southeast United States. John Alvarado is the most famous gunfighter that no-one has ever heard of. He survived the civil war, and the frontier of Texas. His son John Pierre was caught in the grip of two diverse cultures, tainting his life. John Pierre’s wife was murdered, plunging him into a life long depression. He eventually rescues a young girl from the villainess grip of a Comanchero gang and falls in love again. But before he can enjoy that love he must survive the Spanish American war.

John Bunch

John “Blue” Bunch is a graduate of Gonzaga University. He has a PH.D. in education, a masters in business and a bachelor in history and culture anthropology. A 22 year veteran of the USAF, who currently teaches on line and has for 20 years. He is a life member of Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association, and a civil war reenactor.
