The French Vaquero

The Story of a Cajun Gunfighters Journey

by John 'Blue" Bunch

Book Details

The French Vaquero was the most infamous gunfighter in the old west no one remembers.

The French Vaquero is the progeny of two different cultures in New Orleans. He is thrust into the deadly world of gunfighting protecting an innocent girl and himself. He never envisioned killing people, and it bothered him immensely, but he was good at it. The gun fights of his youth separated him from the love of his life. He navigated those fights with the aid of his deaf horse and a crusty old buffalo hunter friend. But when the civil war enveloped New Orleans, he was forced to join the confederate army, survive an intense battle and try to find a way back to the surrounded city of his birth. He has to kill one more time, a man that caused the death of his little girl; his collegial enemy, the dark hearted Major Sherer.
