Pamela K. Yarborough was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, along with her twin sister, Patricia. She lived for most of her life in Glen Burnie, MD, where over the years she developed into a prolific writer of poetry for which she earned several merit awards culminating, ultimately, in her being awarded the prestigious and most notable honor, the Silver Poet Award of 1986, awarded her by the National Library of Poetry. Her work appears in two separate volumes published by the National Library of Poetry, A Moment to Reflect and A Prism of Thoughts. Pamela K. Yarborough left for the world her extraordinarily remarkable and wondrous gift of poetry to be read and shared for lifetimes to come. She was a force of nature, always curious and always hoping the universe had more and more beauty to offer her, more and more bliss for her to hold onto forever.
