Eden Braverman, RN, is at it again. An RN who works as both an Emergency Department nurse and a private investigator, is finding out the cobweb called family can be confusing, painful, and murderous.

Her good friend’s mother comes in dead with a fresh appendectomy incision. The problem is the woman never had her appendix out. Two nights later, Eden’s own cousin is wheeled in with the same incision and the same unexplained history. Then, three more victims are added to the list and somehow Eden is connected.

Eden begins to investigate and can’t help but step on the toes of Detective Harry Stasson, who tells her to stay away from the case, just as he did with her sister’s murder. It just spurs her to dig deeper. She finds the sticky, tricky threads of deceit lure her down a dangerous path right into the waiting jaws of a deadly spider.
